AC/DC ‘Play Ball’ – The Song of the Week for 11/24/2014

Released October 7. 2014 via Columbia Records, “Play Ball” is the lead single off of Rock Or Bust, the 15th studio album by AC/DC

I mean, it’s AC/DC. If they have new material out, every single rock/alternative site, blog, radio station, etc. broadcast it. That is what I am doing here, making this song the Song of the Week here on Music Trajectory this week. The video may be a smidge low-budget looking but the song is classic AC/DC and will probably be heard around sports stadiums nationwide including clips on ESPN and the such. Smart move by the band indeed! By the way, I have to give some credit to lead singer Brian Johnson who is the band’s oldest member at 68 years old (as of this writing) but is in the best shape, by far. You go boy.
